It’s always nice to be recognized. But being recognized by two of the biggest names in tech and media is an absolute honor. Not only was Pria by BLACK+DECKER named a CES® Innovation Awards Honoree in the Health & Wellness category by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it was also showcased at The Paley Center for Media’s Best of CES 2020 event.
The CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the CTA, owner and producer of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest and most influential technology event. CTA has been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976. The honorees were announced at CES Unveiled New York, the official kick-off to the start of the CES season, and Pria took home one of the coveted awards.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, Pria was also recognized by the The Paley Center for Media, a nonprofit organization that leads the discussion about the cultural, creative and social significance of television, radio and emerging platforms, drawing upon its curatorial expertise, an international collection, and close relationships with the media community. The Paley Center for Media’s Best of CES 2020 event displayed the most exciting products coming out of CES 2020 and hosted a panel of leading technology experts to discuss the newest trends in today’s world of consumer technology.
We always knew that Pria was positioned to be a breakthrough in consumer healthcare, but receiving validation from two heavy-hitters in both technology and media is incredible. Our mission is, and always has been, to empower the aging population to live independent and healthy lives and bring ease and efficiency to both individuals and their caregivers. This recognition helps get Pria into the homes of every senior in America.
